Thank you. Sincerely, thank you! This year marks the 20 year anniversary of Munter Westermann Arts & Media. Back in 2005, I had been laid off from my agency job, we had a baby on the way, and I took the leap into the world of freelance. Building a business was never the plan, but it’s been quite a journey that I couldn’t have taken without you.
I’ve had the privilege of working with some truly wonderful clients and fantastically talented collaborators. Early on, I started working with many of you and continue to this day. I’m truly grateful to each and every one of you that has trusted me to communicate, elaborate, or otherwise support your vision. You let me into your business lives and trusted me to steward your brands.
I’ve relished learning about so many different fields while working with clients in medicine, the arts, manufacturing, finance, government, advocacy, luxury goods, agriculture, training, and the list goes on. I’ve particularly appreciated being long term partners with so many of you – being a trusted collaborator and resource for you, your team, and your business. I’m proud of my long term working relationships, some of which span over a decade.
In these past 20 years, things have changed dramatically. When I started out, I was using dial-up to connect to the Internet. I was hand coding every single web page. I was shooting video on tape. There was no social media or Search Engine Optimization. It’s amazing what we can deliver now on a website. We can provide incredible interactivity and functionality. Full screen video may seem old hat, but I remember when it was a real struggle to embed even a small video clip into a website.
To celebrate 20 years, we have relaunched the Munter Westermann Arts & Media website to better highlight what we do and the work that we’re proud of.
What comes next? More great collaborations. More strategy and support. More innovation in accelerating and protecting your websites. Let’s continue to build amazing things together!
