Richard started his professional career as a video editor, producing videos for clients like Bell Canada, Rogers, Sears, and Coca-Cola. His responsibilities included script development, videography, effects production, editing, and output. Richard has shot in Canada and US, including shooting in Vancouver for Cineplex, in St. John’s for Shopper’s Drug Mart, and in New York City for Arrow Shirts.
Along with video, Richard then started working in web production. He has designed, developed, deployed, and supported websites for non-profits, utilities and municipalities, educators, professionals, artists, and service providers. Richard has developed custom solutions for a variety of challenges including:
- training portal with signup and invoicing
- community sites with forums
- content management systems
Richard has used his graphic design skills for the look and content of websites. He has also designed logos, newsletters, flyers, signs, and catalogues. He has supervised and coordinated print production.
Now, after over 20 years of design and production experience, Richard brings together his work in these different disciplines to offer a unified approach and understanding to Munter Westermann’s clients. This experience allows him to design across media and deliver consistent, high quality results regardless of the final output for clients like best-selling author, Vincent Lam, celebrity chef Bonnie Stern, the City of Brampton, and Oakville Hydro.
“What I particularly enjoy is working directly with my clients and helping them communicate their message in a way that is consistent with their company’s brand. I’m happiest solving problems for my clients and enabling them to concentrate on and build their businesses.”
