Jessica studied in the Ryerson University Dance Program, under the artistic direction of Nadia Potts.  From there, she pursued Musical Theatre training at the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts and she graduated with a Diploma in Musical Theatre in December of 1999. In 2013, Jessica earned an Arts Administration Diploma specializing in fundraising through the University of Waterloo.

In addition to performing and teaching, Jessica provides part-time Project Management for Dance Ontario. She recently helped to administer Connecting The Dots Halton; a forum for dance educators and studio owners to discuss the needs of dance students.

Using project management and event planning skills, Jessica recently completed a 10-month initiative funded by the Ontario Arts Council.  Called Dance From A Distance, she led a team of professionals to offer dance via video and the web, to a group of high school students in rural North Bay, Ontario.

She has programmed two events for Dance Ontario’s DanceWeekend at the Fleck Dance Theatre, including a Tap Dance Series (2004) and a Latin Dance Series (2005). Also in 2005, Jessica programmed and performed in, Dance Ontario celebrates TAP: Mr. Bojangles and Friends; a one-night only Tap gala held at the Harbourfront Studio Theatre, Toronto, with T.O. Tap, Turn on the Tap, What’s On? TAP!, and the late Kimberley Timlock.

She coordinated all aspects of a dance training conference, called Dance Alive, at exclusive Deerhurst Resort in Muskoka.

She was an Administrative Assistant for DanceWorks and The CanDance Network both under the direction of Mimi Beck. Jessica is proud to take on new challenges in the dance world. Jessica has been heard on CIUT FM Radio promoting dance on the show Evidance, and was also the principal actress in a television commercial for Royal Taxi.
