About Munter Westermann Arts & Media

Show and tell done right. It mesmerizes. Motivates.

And puts your brand above the pack.

If you’re an independent enterprise, non-profit, entrepreneur or artist with something to say, if you’re a socially conscious decision-maker or change-maker, we have a lot in common. We’re here to help amplify your message and make your mark by spotlighting what’s so compelling about what you do.

Munter Westermann Arts & Media is a boutique agency that creates websites and powers online presences, designs graphics, and shoots video for innovators just like you. We’re entrepreneurs with a passion for the arts, the environment, and making the world a better, brighter, more connected place.

Since 2005, we’ve been supporting small to medium-sized businesses in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and beyond, big enough to need strong media support, but without their own media department. We work online and off, in print, and in broadcast to optimise your digital real estate while also keeping current in traditional formats.

We’re everything you need in a media partner.

All at once. All at your fingertips. All in one place.

So instead of worrying about multiple point-people, juggling different conversations, and vetting a new team and process every time you want to add something fresh, you can count on one strong, dedicated communications partner. One with experience, reliability, and an eye for clarity you won’t find anywhere else.

Our principals, husband and wife team, Richard Munter and Jessica Westermann work closely with you to fully understand your distinct needs and then deliver. From websites to newsletters, videos, print and more, our expertise is potent and proven in eye-popping visuals and gorgeous multimedia landscapes.

Munter Westermann Arts & Media have provided content, media, and artistic direction for notable organizations like Oakville Hydro, Air Liquide, City of Brampton, and Waterfront Toronto as well as clients like Dance Ontario, Clean Air Partnership, and Women’s Brain Health Initiative. Deeply invested in the arts and cause-driven sectors, Richard and Jessica’s belief in the extraordinary possibilities of great ideas paired with exceptional people has fueled their careers (and their family!) for over twenty years.

So they can keep doing what they do best: making a positive difference in their own unique way. Care to know a little more about Richard and Jessica?
Here are a few juicy “nice-to-meet-you!” tidbits 🙂

Richard

  1. Has a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do. And while that translates into a mean roundhouse kick, it’s the key philosophy of trustworthiness, loyalty, integrity and perseverance that he brings to his everyday life and work.
  2. Supports the WWF every year by climbing the CN Tower with his son (who’s handily beat his old man to the top as of late!) Richard’s scaled the 1776 stairs 14+ times.
  3. Adores – and recently saw, live! – the great, Peter Gabriel.
  1. Is a reader. His favourite author is Terry Pratchett. He’d love to know yours. (Brownie points if you bring up your favourite author when you chat with him about your next project).
  2. Can juggle. Mostly tennis balls. Sometimes scarves, and working on juggling pins. (There was an unfortunate incident involving eggs, but we don’t speak of it).
  3. Plays basketball, and has since he was just a young sprite.

Jessica

  1. Grew up in Timmins, Ontario, AKA, “the city with the heart of gold”. That’s about right – Jessica has one of the biggest hearts we know.
  2. Put on her first dancing shoes at age four. She hasn’t stopped dancing since. In fact,
  3. She’s performed all over the world, and learned from some of the very best, including
*perfunctory name-drop*, the legendary Gregory Hines. (We know, right?!) And it’d be downright selfish for her to keep that talent all to herself, so
  1. She also teaches tap to enthusiastic students aged 4 to 80.
  2. Embodies the creative entrepreneurial spirit and also brings her brand of magic to her specialty t-shirt company, Tappy Tees.
  3. Really loves Christmas. It’s her favourite time of year. She loves to decorate and bake cookies (that are infamously delicious, even sans the sweet sweet gluten). Fun – and we think, impressive! – fact: Jessica’s tested or relaced every last bulb on a 750-light tree.

We’re firm believers in the power of community!
